Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform essential server maintenance, patch management, and system updates on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders with minimal supervision during off-peak hours.
- Security Protocols: Enforce security best practices, monitor system logs for anomalies, and conduct vulnerability assessments to safeguard company data.
- Help Desk Support: Provide technical support for critical incidents, including network access, printer troubleshooting, and software deployment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation and runbooks for all weekend procedures.
- Backup Verification: Verify data integrity and ensure successful completion of scheduled backup processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in System Administration, IT Support, or Network Engineering.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Friday evenings/Saturday/Sunday) for the duration of the contract.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP networking, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Hardware: Strong knowledge of PC hardware components, printers, and mobile device management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
