Responsibilities
- Execute Critical Deployments: Manage and push code changes to production environments during the weekend to ensure continuous delivery without disrupting business operations.
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor server health, database integrity, and application performance to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by the QA team or end-users with minimal supervision.
- Automated Testing: Design and execute automated test scripts to validate new features and regression fixes before they go live.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API endpoints, system architecture diagrams, and incident logs.
- Security Compliance: Conduct security audits and patch management during the weekend window to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide clear, concise status updates to the project manager regarding ongoing tasks and blockers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Availability: Must be available to work a Weekend Shift (Saturday & Sunday) on a 100% contract basis.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java, with experience in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of debugging complex codebases.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
