Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and remote desktop during weekend shifts.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printer failures, network connectivity problems, and application crashes.
  • Manage and escalate critical IT incidents to the on-call engineering team when necessary.
  • Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and security updates during low-traffic periods.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations and peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all technical tickets and resolutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience, with a preference for weekend support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and common troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and hardware components.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
