As a Weekend IT Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients during critical off-hours, ensuring seamless business continuity and operational excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tech-savvy professional to leverage their skills in a flexible, contract capacity.
Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone and remote access.
- Perform regular server maintenance, backups, and security patching during off-hours.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve critical incidents to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all support activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the on-site team during handover periods to ensure seamless transitions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge is preferred.
- Mandatory: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
