Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and resolve IT helpdesk tickets within established SLA guidelines to ensure minimal downtime for our clients.
- Configure and troubleshoot operating systems, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Perform routine hardware maintenance and inventory management for weekend shifts.
- Collaborate with the week-day support team to ensure seamless continuity of service.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent technical experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role, specifically within a contract or enterprise setting.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as the core requirement of this contract position.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with non-technical staff and management.
