Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and uptime across all primary servers and networks during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical technical incidents and service tickets with minimal supervision.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, software patching, and database backups to ensure data integrity.
- Document all incident reports, resolutions, and system changes in the central knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team for seamless shift handovers and communication.
- Ensure strict adherence to security protocols and compliance standards during all technical operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Proven experience with remote access tools (VPN, RDP) and network diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to work exclusively on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) are highly preferred.
