Responsibilities
- Sourcing and identifying qualified candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking events.
- Conducting phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills and cultural fit.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Placing candidates into temporary, temp-to-perm, and direct hire positions.
- Utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track applicant progress and maintain accurate data.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or sales (entry-level candidates with strong ambition will be considered).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workable).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Greater New Orleans area.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred.
