Job Description
Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a leading staffing agency in the Crescent City? NOLA Staffing Pros is currently seeking a highly motivated Night Shift Staffing Specialist to join our elite team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to help connect top talent with the region's most exciting employers.
Working the night shift offers a unique set of advantages: a quiet office environment, zero commute during rush hour, and the satisfaction of ensuring businesses run smoothly while the rest of the city rests. If you are detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about human resources, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do:
We are looking for a professional who can bridge the gap between job seekers and employers. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in temporary and permanent roles, specifically focusing on industries such as logistics, hospitality, and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for night-shift positions, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse or Lever to manage candidate pipelines and maintain up-to-date databases.
- Build and nurture relationships with local businesses to understand their labor needs and staffing challenges.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and I-9 verifications.
- Monitor and manage payroll for temporary staff to ensure accurate timekeeping and payment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Stay current on labor laws and compliance regulations specific to Louisiana.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and engage.
- Availability to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
