Responsibilities
- Sourcing and engaging passive candidates for technical roles (software engineers, data scientists, DevOps)
- Managing full-cycle recruitment from initial screening to offer negotiation
- Building and maintaining robust talent pipelines for Bay Area tech clients
- Partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and company culture fit
- Leveraging ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever) to track candidate progress
- Conducting technical interviews and skills assessments
- Analyzing market trends to advise clients on competitive compensation packages
Qualifications
- 3+ years technical recruiting experience in the Bay Area market
- Proven track record placing engineers in startups and mid-sized tech companies
- Expertise in Boolean search and candidate sourcing strategies
- Familiarity with Oakland's tech talent landscape and diversity initiatives
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- Technical background or certification (e.g., CTS) highly desirable
