Responsibilities
- Source & Screen: Utilize various platforms to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone screenings to assess skills and cultural fit.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses in Virginia Beach to understand their hiring needs and job requirements.
- Placement Coordination: Schedule interviews between clients and candidates, manage the offer process, and facilitate the onboarding of temporary staff.
- Paperwork & Compliance: Ensure all necessary employment contracts, tax forms, and compliance documentation are completed accurately and timely.
- Payroll Administration: Process timesheets for temporary workers and verify hours worked to ensure timely daily pay disbursement.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends in the Hampton Roads area to advise candidates on salary expectations and market demand.
- Training Support: Assist in training temporary workers on workplace safety and company policies before they begin assignments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment, staffing, sales, or customer service.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines and strict deadlines simultaneously.
- Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Virginia Beach, VA job market and local geography is preferred.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for client visits.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is a plus.
