Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and engage qualified technical candidates across software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity roles
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes including interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding support
- Develop and maintain relationships with key hiring managers at Fortune 500 and startup clients
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches) to build robust talent pipelines
- Track recruitment metrics and optimize strategies to improve time-to-hire and quality-of-hire
- Represent Apex Staffing at industry events and tech meetups in the Raleigh-Durham area
- Maintain compliance with EEOC regulations and ATS best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience with a focus on IT/software roles
- Proven track record of placing candidates in competitive tech markets
- Expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday)
- Strong understanding of technical stacks (Java, Python, cloud technologies, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- SHRM-SCP or CERP certification preferred
- Deep local network of tech professionals in Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area
