Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python).
- Monitor and troubleshoot system alerts and production errors during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Optimize database queries and application performance for high-volume transaction processing.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team via asynchronous documentation and automated deployment pipelines.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following enterprise standards.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in architectural planning for next-gen features.
- Implement security best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience working successfully in a night shift or rotational schedule environment.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
