Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor critical system maintenance windows during weekends to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and bugs that arise outside of standard business hours.
- Perform routine health checks, log analysis, and security patching on enterprise servers and databases.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to escalate and resolve critical incidents efficiently.
- Document all changes, incidents, and resolutions in the internal knowledge base for team continuity.
- Ensure 100% uptime and stability for key client deliverables.
- Conduct smoke testing and regression testing on new feature releases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience (5+ years preferred).
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 operations or high-availability environment.
- Demonstrated availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration and Python or Shell scripting.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to document issues and provide status updates to stakeholders.
