Apex Digital Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our elite team for a long-term contract opportunity in Chicago, IL. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and internal coding guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural planning sessions, and technical troubleshooting to ensure system stability and performance.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to identify and resolve bugs before deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
