Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of local and remote network infrastructure systems.
- Resolve escalated help desk tickets and technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Perform scheduled security patching, system updates, and data backups to ensure data integrity.
- Respond to and troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions during the weekend shift.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to address emergent infrastructure issues.
- Document all technical procedures and resolutions in our knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on IT support or systems administration experience.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Experience with remote access tools (VPN, RDP) and help desk ticketing systems.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
