Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement high-quality, scalable frontend architectures for web and mobile applications.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze application performance bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve load times and responsiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and user-centric design.
- Code Quality: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Testing: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and stability.
- Documentation: Create clear technical documentation for APIs and component libraries.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Core Tech: Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled-components).
- Backend Knowledge: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend technologies (Node.js/Python) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to New York City, NY.
- Availability: Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for the contract duration.
