The Role:
As a Staffing Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in various industries, including Light Industrial, Office, and Skilled Trades. You will build relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses to understand their hiring needs and workforce requirements.
- Talent Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, and networking events to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct comprehensive phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Placement & Onboarding: Manage the full placement process, including offer negotiations, contract generation, and orientation scheduling.
- Administrative Accuracy: Maintain accurate candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and salary benchmarks to provide competitive offers to candidates.
Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and persuasive tone.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, recruiting, customer service, or staffing is highly preferred.
- Self-Motivation: A drive to exceed targets and a hunger for financial success.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines and deadlines efficiently.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn industry-specific ATS software.
