Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive market research and utilize advanced sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, Boolean searches) to identify qualified candidates in the Chicago metro area and beyond.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and salary expectations for contract roles.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for mid-to-senior level technical positions, including coordinating interviews, scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Maintain accurate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure all pipeline metrics are up-to-date.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand project requirements and develop targeted recruitment plans.
- Provide exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process, acting as a brand ambassador for Apex Solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within the Chicago market.
- Proven ability to sourc and screen candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and knowledge of popular tech stacks (React, Python, AWS, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a flexible, contract-based environment.
