You will work directly with operations managers to understand their staffing needs and build a pipeline of reliable candidates ready to work when others are resting. Responsibilities
- End-to-End Sourcing: Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networking) to identify and attract qualified candidates specifically for night shift roles in logistics and manufacturing.
- Talent Screening: Conduct thorough phone and video screenings to assess candidate availability, work history, and shift compatibility.
- Client Partnership: Build strong relationships with Detroit-based clients to understand their urgent staffing needs and retention strategies for night operations.
- Placement Management: Coordinate the interview process, manage offer negotiations, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for night shift hires.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate data in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) regarding candidate pipeline, placement rates, and shift utilization.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on local Detroit labor trends to advise clients on competitive pay rates and benefits for night shift workers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and clients effectively.
- Availability: Must be available to work during standard business hours (Day Shift) to support the night shift operations, or possess a flexible schedule.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual with a high tolerance for repetitive tasks and a strong desire to meet placement quotas.
- Reliability: Proven track record of reliability and punctuality in previous employment.
