Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance during off-hours to prevent downtime.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and resolve complex technical support tickets (Level 2/3) with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Critical Maintenance: Execute scheduled patching, backups, and system updates during low-traffic windows to minimize disruption.
- Incident Response: Lead the troubleshooting process for any critical incidents that arise during the night shift, ensuring rapid resolution and communication.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive logs, runbooks, and technical documentation to ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and VPN technologies.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely and on-site.
- Communication: Ability to document findings clearly and communicate status updates effectively to on-call management.
