The Role:
You will be the first point of contact for internal technical issues, acting as a bridge between the user base and our technical infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring a mix of hardware troubleshooting, software deployment, and network support.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to deploy software updates and system patches.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and configurations in the ticketing system.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new software and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (approx. 30-50 lbs) and perform physical setup tasks.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation.
