Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Create a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business goals, focusing on AGI, Quantum, and Green Tech integration.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the research and development of cutting-edge software architectures and hardware-software integration.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (Web3, Biotech, Edge Computing) and assess their commercial viability for Nexus Horizon.
- Architectural Strategy: Design scalable, secure, and resilient systems that can handle the demands of future data volumes and processing power.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the engineering department.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into strategic value for the board of directors and non-technical stakeholders.
- Compliance & Ethics: Oversee the ethical implementation of AI and automated systems, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, with at least 5 years in architectural design for enterprise-level systems.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Cloud Native Architecture, and Quantum Computing principles.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and defining long-term technical strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving unstructured problems in ambiguous environments.
- Certifications: Professional certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Architecture is a plus.
