Responsibilities
- Screen and interview potential candidates to match them with daily pay job openings.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to fill urgent staffing needs in NYC.
- Conduct background checks and verify references for new hires.
- Manage daily payroll processing and ensure accurate timekeeping.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience through professional communication.
- Update and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with current status.
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and orientation for new temp workers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or staffing agency operations.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for some roles).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with New York State labor laws is a plus.
