Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor weekend maintenance windows to ensure zero downtime for core business operations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues escalated during off-hours to minimize impact on users.
- Perform routine server patching, security updates, and database backups.
- Collaborate with the on-call team to document issues and provide detailed after-action reports.
- Monitor system health using advanced monitoring tools and proactively address anomalies.
- Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in System Administration or IT Support.
- Strong proficiency with Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Proven track record of successfully managing weekend shifts and maintenance windows.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
