This 6-month contract offers flexible remote work with mandatory in-office collaboration at our downtown DC studio. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital solutions for federal agencies while growing your portfolio with meaningful civic tech projects.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for SaaS applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing with federal stakeholders
- Create responsive UI designs adhering to Section 508 accessibility standards
- Develop design systems and component libraries for multi-platform projects
- Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Present design solutions to executive leadership and government clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with government or enterprise projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
- Expert knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
