Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and remote access during the night shift.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for workstations and peripherals.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform routine system monitoring and maintenance tasks during off-peak hours to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to document resolved issues and update knowledge bases.
- Enforce security protocols and perform basic audits to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or Help Desk roles.
- Experience working a night shift is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL.
