We are seeking a highly skilled Contract IT Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a critical role for our night shift operations, ensuring 24/7 system stability and seamless user support for our enterprise clients. You will work independently during evening hours to resolve technical issues, manage incidents, and maintain a secure IT environment.

Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network performance, and system logs during overnight hours.
- Triage and resolve Level 1 & 2 IT support tickets using Jira/ServiceNow.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, system backups, and security patch management.
- Respond to urgent incidents and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical business systems.
- Conduct remote desktop support, software installations, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, or IT operations.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows Server.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for remote support scenarios.
