Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Support: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, patches, and updates for critical servers and applications to ensure system stability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported during the weekend shift with minimal supervision.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify potential bottlenecks or failures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including incident reports and maintenance logs, to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with on-call support teams and internal stakeholders to communicate status updates and urgent issues.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to security protocols and perform basic vulnerability assessments on weekend systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering, systems administration, or IT support.
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) for the duration of the contract.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, networking (TCP/IP), and virtualization technologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
