Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for night-shift staff efficiently.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and prioritize incoming service requests via Jira or ServiceNow, ensuring a 99% resolution rate before shift end.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server logs and network traffic to identify potential downtime or security vulnerabilities.
- Hardware Maintenance: Manage the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of laptops, printers, and VoIP systems.
- Remote Assistance: Deliver technical support to off-site team members via remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and configuration changes in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience, specifically within a night-shift or 24/7 operations environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Tools: Experience with remote support software and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira).
- Availability: Must be available to work exclusively on night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) for the duration of the contract.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical users.
