Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and qualify technical candidates across diverse engineering and IT disciplines
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies
- Conduct in-depth technical interviews and skills assessments
- Collaborate with clients to understand hiring needs and position requirements
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes with exceptional attention to detail
- Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates in Chicago's tech ecosystem
- Leverage ATS systems and recruitment technologies to optimize workflows
- Analyze market trends and salary benchmarks to inform recruitment strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in Chicago's IT/engineering market
- Proven expertise in sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, and technical forums
- Deep understanding of technical roles (software engineers, data scientists, DevOps, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday)
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating technical competencies and cultural fit
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment and client partnership
- BS/BA degree or equivalent technical recruitment certification
