Your Mission
As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be the bridge between our clients and our candidates. You will manage the full cycle of temporary and contract placements, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved.
Responsibilities
- Manage Candidate Pipeline: Source, screen, and interview candidates using various platforms, ensuring a diverse and high-quality talent pool.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers at client locations, understanding their specific staffing needs.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS, schedule interviews, and coordinate background checks and drug screens.
- Payroll Coordination: Assist in the weekly onboarding process, ensuring all time sheets are submitted correctly for weekly payroll processing.
- Onboarding: Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all paperwork (W-4s, I-9s) is completed in compliance with federal and state laws.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends in the Chicago area to provide competitive salary recommendations to candidates.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, recruiting, or human resources is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and executives.
- Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday is highly desirable.
- Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate client interviews.
