Job Summary:
As a Staffing Coordinator at Apex, you will be the bridge between our clients and candidates. You will manage the full lifecycle of recruitment, from sourcing and screening to placement and onboarding. Responsibilities
- Conduct Candidate Screening: Perform initial phone and in-person interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit for open positions.
- Manage Pipelines: Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date databases.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing regular updates on candidate status.
- Market Analysis: Research industry trends in New York to identify new talent pools and recruitment strategies.
- Payroll Coordination: Assist in ensuring all timecards and documentation are submitted accurately for weekly payroll processing.
- Onboarding Support: Coordinate the start dates, contracts, and orientation for new hires to ensure a seamless transition.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, human resources, or customer service.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with recruitment software (ATS) and MS Office Suite is required.
- Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the New York City job market is highly preferred.
- Drive: Self-motivated attitude with a desire to hit sales and placement targets.
