We are seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Tester to join our high-growth tech team in San Jose, CA. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and edge cases.
- Document detailed bug reports and track issues using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct manual and automated testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Analyze system performance and suggest improvements for user experience.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting (Java or Python) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
