Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for federal agency digital platforms
- Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop design systems and maintain component libraries
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design implementation
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Adhere to Section 508 accessibility standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with federal government projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Expert knowledge of usability principles and accessibility standards
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Clearance eligibility preferred (not required for application)
