Responsibilities
- Design and prototype high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe XD.
- Conduct user research, including usability testing and interviews, to gather insights and drive product decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions.
- Maintain and evolve our existing design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all product touchpoints.
- Present design concepts and iterations to the team, clearly articulating the 'why' behind design choices.
- Create accessible, responsive, and pixel-perfect designs that adhere to WCAG 2.1 standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing commercial projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a contract role while managing multiple projects effectively.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
