In this role, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and niche job boards to negotiating offers and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. You will play a critical role in our mission to fill hard-to-fill positions with the best talent in the nation's capital.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end full-cycle recruiting process for technical and administrative positions within the DC metro area.
- Utilize advanced sourcing strategies (Boolean search, social recruiting, networking) to identify passive candidates for high-demand roles.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates to meet our client's immediate and long-term hiring needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and culture fit.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings, technical interviews, and salary negotiations to ensure successful placements.
- Track key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire) and provide weekly reporting to management.
- Stay updated on market trends, salary benchmarks, and industry regulations within the staffing and government sector.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources, with a proven track record of successful placements.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting within the Washington DC area, specifically for government contractors, IT, or professional services.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or iCIMS.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to engage and influence passive candidates and decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present a professional brand.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
