Responsibilities
- Source and engage top-tier technical talent across software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity roles
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans for Fortune 500 startups and established tech firms
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from initial outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Leverage cutting-edge ATS tools and data analytics to optimize hiring pipelines
- Build and nurture relationships with hiring managers and department heads
- Conduct market research to identify compensation benchmarks and talent trends
- Mentor junior recruiters while maintaining personal KPIs for time-to-fill and quality-of-hire
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience with proven track record in IT staffing
- Expertise in sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche tech communities
- Strong technical understanding of software development methodologies and tools
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) or SHRM-CP preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment campaigns with tight deadlines
- Deep network of connections within New Orleans' tech and startup community
