Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche tech platforms
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers at Microsoft, Amazon, and other Seattle-based tech giants
- Conduct technical interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills and cultural fit
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle from pipeline development to offer negotiation and onboarding support
- Analyze market trends and compensation data to provide strategic hiring recommendations to clients
- Mentor junior recruiters and contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical recruitment experience with a proven track record placing software engineers and IT professionals
- Expertise in sourcing for AWS, Azure, cloud architecture, and full-stack development roles
- Strong technical acumen to evaluate candidates across languages (Python, Java, JavaScript), frameworks, and methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Lever) and recruitment analytics tools
- Professional Recruiter (PR) or Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) certification preferred
- Deep understanding of Seattle's tech ecosystem and compensation benchmarks
