Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex software development projects from conception to delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Monitor project progress continuously and identify potential risks or bottlenecks early in the lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership and technical staff to report status, changes, and issues.
- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the software or technology sector.
- Proven experience leading teams of 5+ members and managing budgets over $500k.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project management frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly desirable.
