Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable software applications using modern technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.
- Problem Solving: Identify complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions to optimize system performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features on time.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline management.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the San Jose Bay Area.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Databases: Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Tools: Familiarity with modern development tools including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
