Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party financial systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, security)
- Document technical specifications and API documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Java development experience in financial tech
- Expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong SQL skills with experience in PostgreSQL/Oracle
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
