Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Debug and resolve critical technical issues immediately upon detection.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to document technical changes and handovers.
- Optimize code for performance, security, and scalability in a high-load environment.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, specifically in a contract or consulting capacity.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to work effectively during night shifts and in autonomous settings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
