Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects ranging from software development to infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using industry-standard methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively to minimize impact on timelines.
- Report project status, milestones, and variances to senior management and clients on a weekly basis.
- Mentor junior project managers and team leads to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the Atlanta tech market.
- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is strongly required.
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle projects in a corporate environment.
- Expert knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
