Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and security systems during night shift hours to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Perform proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network outages.
- Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls to support business continuity.
- Document network changes, configurations, and incident reports in our centralized knowledge base.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to ensure seamless handovers and project alignment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with specific preference for night shift experience.
- Valid certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent (CCIE preferred).
- Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
