Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure during night shifts.
- Perform proactive network monitoring and incident response to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Execute software patches, updates, and security hardening during low-traffic windows.
- Document network configurations, incidents, and changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and status reports.
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for network hardware.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and administration.
- Strong expertise in Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (CCNP/CCIE preferred).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
- Experience with VPNs, VoIP, and load balancers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to start immediately on a contract basis.
