This 6-month contract opportunity offers remote flexibility with occasional on-site collaboration in our Manhattan headquarters. Work with cutting-edge technologies including React, TypeScript, and GraphQL while mentoring junior developers and optimizing user experiences for 500K+ active users.
Responsibilities
- Architect responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
- Optimize frontend performance for complex financial data visualizations
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Implement robust testing strategies using Jest and Cypress
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
- Document technical specifications and contribute to team wikis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional React development experience
- Expert knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, and modern CSS
- Portfolio demonstrating responsive design and complex state management
- Experience with fintech or high-traffic applications preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
