Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data models to support comprehensive business intelligence initiatives.
- Design and deploy interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and PowerBI to track real-time KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to identify data gaps and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Perform rigorous data cleansing, validation, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity across all reporting systems.
- Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership through clear, compelling storytelling.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden trends and support A/B testing frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for experience in the Boston tech or financial services sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of BI tools, including Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
