As a Senior Data Analyst, you will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable business strategies. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques to solve complex problems and optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support ad-hoc reporting and long-term business goals.
- Utilize Python and R to perform statistical analysis, automate data pipelines, and cleanse large datasets.
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to drive decision-making.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and KPIs.
- Conduct root cause analysis on performance metrics to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Present findings and insights to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Data Science.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift) and scripting languages (Python, R).
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
