Job Description
Join our award-winning design team as a Senior Contract UX/UI Designer to transform complex user journeys into intuitive digital experiences. This 6-month contract offers the flexibility of remote work with quarterly on-site collaboration in our Manhattan studio. You'll lead end-to-end design for fintech SaaS platforms used by Fortune 500 clients, with opportunities to influence product strategy and mentor junior designers. Responsibilities
- Execute user-centered design for web and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Develop design systems and component libraries ensuring brand consistency across platforms
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement pixel-perfect designs
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Document design specifications and create interactive prototypes for user testing
- Mentor junior designers through design critiques and portfolio reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with portfolio showcasing B2B SaaS projects
- Expertise in Figma, Sketch, and prototyping tools like Principle or ProtoPie
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing methodologies
- Proficiency in design systems and component library development
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user flows
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
- Agile/Scrum experience preferred with Jira workflow familiarity
