We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our elite team in Washington, DC. This is a high-impact contract opportunity with an immediate start date for a top-tier government contracting firm.
In this role, you will drive the architecture and development of scalable web applications, ensuring compliance with federal standards and delivering high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of secure, scalable web applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using Node.js or Python.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high code quality and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and ensure 99.9% uptime in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Ensure all code meets strict security compliance standards (FedRAMP, DoD).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
